Deep stretch is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. This class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. There is a mixture between moving through poses to warm the body the first part of the class. The last have of the class focuses in on holding stretching poses for 1-2 minutes to allow the body to expereince the full intent of the pose.
Ideal for: Slow Pace, Low Impact, Active Stretching, Beginner Yoga, compliment to high intensity exercises and athletes.
