Yoga Classes

Mindful movements compliment any lifestyle. Whether you prefer high intensity exercises or a slower paced routine, you will benefit from the variety of intentional yoga practices that we offer at the Yoga Loft. Our collection of low impact practices to more intense movements provide you the opportunity to slow down and stretch your mind and body. By incorporating mindfulness into your weekly routine, you will likely sleep better, feel more alert yet calmer, and increase flexibility in both your body and emotional well-being. All of these practices are intended to support both beginner and experienced yogis alike.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative is a slow paced, relaxing practice. Props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets will be used to support the body as it stretches to find comfort and ease in poses which are held for longer periods of time. Restorative yoga can be an antidote to stress, both physically and mentally.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a perfect class for those in need of a slower paced class. Whether you're at the beginning of your yoga journey or prefer to move in a mindful way, this class is perfect for you. Our gentle yoga class is designed to incorporate mindful breathing as well as basic meditation. Up and down movements are limited in this class.

Deep Stretch

Deep stretch is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. This class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. There is a mixture between moving through poses to warm the body the first part of the class. The last half of the class focuses in on holding stretching poses for 1-2 minutes to allow the body to experience the full intent of the pose.

Yoga and Meditation

This class moves at a slower pace and will help build a foundation in basic meditation, terminology and philosophy. The purpose of this class is to feel strength with a peace of mind.

Slow Flow/ Basic Flow

Slow Flow/ Basic Flow is a combination of accessible poses, fluid movement and breath. Classes will move through a series of poses that gently engage and open all the major muscle groups. Slow Flow, contributing to spinal health, improved posture and overall well-being.

Flow

Flow is a practice that connects dynamic movement, sustained postures and breath. Each class begins with gentle warm up movements designed to build heat throughout the body. As class progresses you can expect creative sequences and unique transitions that intelligently open and prepare your body for a peak posture.

Power Yoga 

Power Yoga is an advanced practice that connects dynamic movement, sustained postures and breath. Each class begins with gentle warm up movements designed to build heat throughout the body. This class is intended to be athletic in style, building strength in addition to flexibility.
