Looking for a great way to kick off 2019? Join Kelli Parrish for a 30 day cleanse of the Mind, Body and Spirit. In addition to performing a physical cleanse, we will meet up weekly to discuss progress and incorporate the mind and spirit into the cleanse through journaling, meditation, personalized vision board and the physical practice of yoga. We are holding two information session, the first one will be December 30th at 4pm and the second session on January 6th at 4pm. Information sessions are free to attend. Arm Balance Workshop Part 1

Make tackling an arm balance part of your New Year's resolution for 2019. Join Katy on January 26th at 1 pm to 3 pm for part 1 of a 2 part series on arm balances. In this workshop, we will review certain postures that will assist with strength and flexibility, discuss modifications, and practice how to safely get into crow, side crow and a modified one legged crow. The goal for this workshop is to teach you the fundamentals of each pose for you to practice and build on in your practice.

A note about Katy: she LOVES arm balances and is constantly working on them!

  • Open to all women ages 13+.

  • Come prepared to sweat!  

  • Please dress in comfortable work-out attire. 

  • No jewelry please!  

  • Please bring bottled water or a sports drink. 

  • Any participant under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Content to be covered:

  • A 1.5 hands-on portion covering techniques needed to survive a violent encounter. 

  • A 30-minute portion allowing participants the opportunity to practice the techniques learned during the seminar on a professionally trained padded assailant.  

  • No prior experience is necessary!

Your Mala and Mantra Workshop Part 1

A mantra is a word or sound used repeatedly to assist with concentration in meditation. Incorporating a mala necklace, reciting your mantra creates a calm and peace of mind. 

Join Katy for this 2 week consecutive series, on September 16th from 5 pm to 6:30 pm and September 23rd from 5 pm to 7 pm. Learn to set your intention to find your mala bead and discover your mantra. 

The following Sunday, the Autumn Equinox on September 23rd at 5 pm- 7 pm, we will create our mala necklace consisting of 108 beads and practice using our mantra with our beads. Pre-registration is required for this event.

If you are only interested in coming to the first session, the cost is $30 for the 16th only. Must come to both sessions to make the mala necklace. All materials are included in the cost of the event. You only need a yoga mat and an open heart!

Join WPAII instructor Sarah Sutton & The Yoga Loft for an end of the summer SUPaddle on the on the calm serene waters of Twin Lakes. We will provide a basic paddle lesson on boards provided by Clintonville Outfitters then launch from the sandy beaches of the Adaptive Sports Connection. Our exploration will move slowly through the channels of the beautiful O’Shaughnessy Nature Preserve & Bird Sanctuary and into the Scioto River. As the sun goes down we will make our way to the patio of local Village Wine Shop for a California grown wine tasting! Must be 21 to participate in the tasting. This evening will sell out fast with limited spaces sign up below!
