Join Abbe Straw for this 2 hour workshop, which you will have the time and space to explore, discover, and find a deeper connection with your inner resource through and within this practice, as you will be introduced to the concepts of iRest meditation.  There will be a 30 minute iRest Yoga Nidra meditation practice, as well as some additional information provided on various aspects of the practice and guidance within the practice.

Ariel Yoga: Level 1
Looking to work with the hammocks a little more in depth? We are offering a 4 class progressive series where we will work on getting comfortable with the hammocks and progress to inversions and more strength based movements using the hammocks.

Join us on Sunday, May 14th at 10:00 am for a celebrations of mothers! Katy will guide you through an hour long slow flow class. After class, hang out with us for a mimosa. Must be 21 or older to participate. Pre-registrations is required.

Are you ready to take your yoga practice to the next level? Join us for this workshop exploring arm balances….

Join us to learn more about spinal movement and how to safely backbend! Over the two hours, we will review basic to more complex backbends, studying each pose in depth, discussing key muscle engagement and posture alignment. This workshop is designed to help you learn your body in the pose, to build strength, and decrease wear and tear on your body. This workshop is great for everyone who loves yoga!! Any teacher looking for continuing ed, you will receive 2 CEU's for this workshop.

Cost $40

During this 2 hour workshop, we will discuss the importance of stretching, and the effects stretching has on the body. We will dive deeper into our fascia using massage balls to identify trigger points in the body where we hold tension and stress. 

Come turn your world upside down with this headstand and inversion workshop! Have you ever wanted to try a headstand but are too scared or think this is impossible? Katy will provide a safe way to perform headstands while being mindful of your neck and spine. During this hour and a half, you will be able to ask questions and have hands on assists to safely guide you into a headstand.

Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time to share experiences, stories, thoughts, and ideas. Women’s Circles offer a safe and gentle space for women of all ages and backgrounds to come together and share. Join Katy for a fun night of celebrating each other and bonding as women. Our intention for this circle will center around the path of power as a woman.

Space is limited to 10. Pre-registration is required.

Join us for an evening of fun with this hour and a half partner yoga event! As you move from pose to pose, you and your partner will have to trust each other to enter into poses in order to let go of what you cannot control! Poses will be geared towards building strength and getting a wonderful stretch! This is a progressive class that will start with beginner partner poses leading to more challenging postures.

Join Katy and Carmen for this fun event! (Please note, your partner can be your best friend, daughter or your spouse!). Age 9 and up are welcome.

Yoga benefits the body and soul. It is an art, a practice of connecting the mind, body and soul. Yoga is an art form like dancing, music and painting. Yoga is a creative action that creates energy thoughout the body. When we create shapes in our body, we create new shapes within our mind leading to increased creativity.

Movements and postures we do habitually can become contractions we unconsciously hold in our body. Over your life you train your brain where to hold your body. Somatics can help you bring conscious awareness to your physical tension and teach your muscles how to release and relax.
